Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella


Buffalo mozzarella is a type of mozzarella cheese made from water buffalo milk; it is loved for its versatility, its mild, creamy taste, and its springy texture.  Originally from Campania in Italy, buffalo mozzarella is now produced in many other countries around the world including Australia, China, Japan, Thailand, India – and now Malaysia! 

L Dairy’s Buffalo Mozzarella is hand-made from fresh local buffalo milk, often produced just a day or two before you eat it!  It is incredibly versatile and is can be eaten fresh in salads (e.g. Insalata Caprese), sandwiches, or by itself with a bit of olive oil.  It can also be cooked on pizzas, put into pasta dishes, baked over vegetables, grilled on bread (i.e., PIZZA!) or in many, many other recipes.  Enjoy!

Buffalo Burrata


Burrata is a premium cow or buffalo milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream.  The outer casing is solid mozzarella cheese, while the inside contains Stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture and creamy taste.  Amazingly, Burrata was originally a useful way for cheesemakers to use up the ritagli ("scraps" in Italian) of their mozzarella.

L Dairy makes its Buffalo Burrata by hand, only when ordered so that we provide the freshest possible product.  This is evident when our Burrata is sliced open and the creamy Stracciatella flows out!  Thanks to its flavor and differing textures inside and outside, our Burrata goes well with salads, cold cuts, crusty bread, fresh tomatoes with olive oil, cracked black pepper, or pasta.


Baby Bocconcini


Baby Bocconcini are small balls of fresh buffalo mozzarella that are the size of a large grape.  Like other mozzarellas, they are mild, semi-soft, un-ripened cheeses that originated near Naples and were once made only from water buffalo milk.  

L Dairy’s Baby Bocconcini have a soft texture allowing them to absorb flavors and are most often served in caprese or other salads, on pizza, or to accompany pasta.

Nodini di Mozzarella


Nodini mozzarella are one of the most loved types mozzarella cheese characterized by its knot-like shape (in Italian, nodini means “knot”).  L Dairy’s Nodini are pleasantly chewy and feature a fresh milky flavor and are perfect on their own or in combination with other ingredients, including fresh vegetables and cold cuts.

Treccia di Mozzarella (Braided)


Treccia is another favorite variation of mozzarella cheese, thanks to its braided shape and shiny shell (in Italian, treccia means “braid”).  L Dairy’s Treccia can be served with salads, cold-cuts, or even grilled on its own with herbs and olive oil.

Buffalo Blue Cheese


L Dairy's Buffalo Blue Cheese is made in the Roquefort style, with the creaminess from the buffalo milk providing a unique taste and texture.  Our Buffalo Blue goes great on a steak, over salads, in sauces, or on its own as part of a cheese platter.

Baby Brie


Aren't they cute!  L Dairy's Baby Brie is made the exact same way as its larger sibling (our Buffalo Brie), but in a  smaller 60g single serving size.  Perfect to share as a snack, or keep it all to yourself for lunch!

Buffalo Feta-style Cheese


Originating over 2,000 years ago in Greece, Feta is a ripened and brined soft cheese traditionally made from sheep's milk or from a mixture of sheep and goat's milk, but also from buffalo milk! 

L Dairy’s Buffalo Feta has a perfectly balanced tangy flavor and rich creamy texture, making it a bit different from its goat’s milk cousins.  Our Buffalo Feta can be used as a table cheese, in salads such as Greek salad, or served with olives and sprinkled with some aromatic herbs like oregano.  It’s creaminess allows it to also be served cooked (often grilled), as part of a sandwich, in omelets, on pizzas (goes very well with spinach!) or in many other dishes.


Marinated Buffalo Feta


L Dairy’s Buffalo Feta goes very well with herbs and spices and so we offer 3 different flavors of our Buffalo Feta marinated in Olive Oil with: Basil & Garlic, Rosemary & Thyme, and a spicy Chili Padi!

Halloumi w/ Mixed Herbs & Chili Flakes


Halloumi is a semi-hard, un-ripened cheese normally made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk – but it can also be made from buffalo’s or cow's milk – that is originally from Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea. 

L Dairy’s Halloumi is made with mixed herbs and dried chili flakes and has a distinctive texture and sensational flavor.  Our cheese is often used in cooking and can be fried until golden brown without melting due to its higher-than-typical melting point, making it a popular meat substitute.

Buffalo Ricotta


Ricotta is a  cheese made from the leftover whey that comes from the production of other cheeses from the milks of sheepcowgoat, or water buffalo.  Ricotta is made by coagulating the proteins that remain by heating the whey almost to boiling – Ricotta literally translates as “re-cooked” in Italian!

L Dairy’s Ricotta is a favorite component of many desserts like cheesecakes, or a wide variety of different cookies as it can be beaten smooth and mixed with other ingredients such as sugarcinnamonorange zeststrawberries, or chocolate shavings.  Our Ricotta is also commonly used in savory dishes, including pasta, pizzalasagna, and ravioli and is also be used as a substitute for paneer in the Indian dessert ras malai.


Buffalo Yogurt


Originating over 5,000 years ago, yogurt is a staple food in many cultures and cuisines.  It is produced by bacterial fermentation of many varieties of milk from cows, water buffalos, goats, yaks and/or sheep.  Fermentation of the sugars in the milk by the bacteria gives yogurt its texture and characteristic tart flavor.   

L Dairy’s Buffalo Yogurt is nutritious, has a deep creamy flavor, and makes a perfect snack or breakfast on its own or with fruits – or make Raita and have it dinner!
